Fabulous vintage 1940s gingham rockabilly day dress or maxi gown in black and white gingham. It it a shirtwaist dress with long sleeves with wide cuffs and extra wide ruffled hem. (I noticed a slight discoloration on a section of the ruffle but since I'm not very good at getting storage stains out, I'll leave that up to the buyer. I can recommend some cleaners that museums use in their restoration process). This dress is subtly figure flattering, beautifully elegant and romantic on. About a Size 6, shoulders 16 1/2, sleeves 23, bust 36, waist 30, hips 38, length 56. The belt is not included in the auction, it is for staging/photography purposes only
